Room Survey Checklist Worth Repeating
Measure overall length, width, and height in multiple spots to find slopes or bows. Note sill heights, radiator depths, and trim profiles. Photograph corners and junctions where walls meet ceilings, then mark studs with a detector. Map door and wardrobe swings, including hallway clearances when the bed folds down. Record floor transitions and thresholds, especially near closets. Repeat once more to catch inevitable misses; accuracy here saves money, time, and daily peace.
